NewRemit tracks what the major remittance operators actually charge and where they actually pay out. 10 providers, 1,000+ corridors, every quote benchmarked to the interbank mid and timestamped — refreshed 6× daily, joined to the payout networks and 490,000+ physical locations across 29 countries that sit behind the prices.
It exists because corridor economics are opaque from every side. Senders can't see effective prices. Analysts, operators, and investors can't see the market — pricing behavior, promo mechanics, and payout-network structure are either checked by hand or bought under enterprise contracts. NewRemit is the layer in between: one consistent, independent measurement of the market, published with its methodology.
Credibility is the product.
Intelligence is only worth what its collection method can defend. Ours is public.
Independent by construction
No provider pays for placement. No affiliate links. Nothing on the site changes a ranking or a number because of a commercial relationship — there are none.
One honest metric
Every quote is reduced to the effective rate: what is actually paid out per unit actually paid in, after every fee and promo, benchmarked against the true interbank mid. Advertised rates mislead differently at every provider — so we never rank on them.
Timestamped, or it doesn't count
Every rate carries its collection time. Every country's location data carries its verification date. Where we don't have current data, we say so — we don't serve stale numbers as fresh.
Measured, not promised
Numbers on this site are derived from the live dataset, not marketing copy. When a capability is still rolling out, it's labeled. When history starts on a date, we state the date.

Built inside the industry.
NewRemit is built by people who have spent their careers on the operator side of remittances — pricing corridors, managing payout networks, and living with the gap between the advertised rate and the settled one. That experience decides what gets measured here and how skeptically.
NewRemit is a product of Vacaloca Labs, an independent product studio based in Warsaw, Poland. We're deliberately small, and the product is deliberately narrow: measure the market well, and publish how.
